Founder, CEO

A C-level executive, with decades of experience Fortune 500 and startup firms, including renewable fuel, waste-to-energy, and recycling, Michael leads the corporate vision and technology roadmap for Vertagent.

Michael has an MBA and bachelor of applied science and engineering (honors) from the University of Toronto.

Founder, Corporate Counsel

A partner with leading law firms in the USA and Canada with expertise in tech M&A and IP law, Laila brings extensive legal and strategy expertise to Vertagent. She also has deep engineering experience with some of the largest petroleum companies in the world.

Laila has a juris doctor degree from the University of Toronto. She also has a masters of engineering from the Univerisity of Waterloo, and a bachelors of applied science and engineering from the University of Toronto.
